Summary
A condensed view of what reviewers mention most often across the reviews on this page.
👍 What people like
- Payouts arrive immediately — the single most repeated point, usually phrased as “no delay” or “no hold period”.
- The creator card: several reviewers outside the EU say spending tips directly from the card is why they signed up.
- No unexplained security holds of the kind reviewers describe running into on PayPal.
- Crypto donations and a commission that does not change month to month.
- Named support staff are thanked by reviewers for sorting out 2FA, withdrawals and alert setup.
➖ Neutral observations
- KYC times vary a lot — reports range from five minutes to roughly 24 hours, with occasional repeat document uploads.
- Commission of around 8% is described as fair given there is no subscription fee.
- Support is responsive but not always fast; one reviewer reports 2–4 days to close a ticket.
👎 Common concerns
- Overlays and alert widgets draw the most criticism: called glitchy, dated, and not working on mobile.
- Settings such as alert volume are buried several menus deep.
- Support is English-only, which one Italian reviewer calls a serious limitation.
- Still no full dark mode.
- The invoices screen is confusing at first and some lists are slow to load.

honestly the best part is just using…
honestly the best part is just using the balance directly. i didn't even bother transferring the tips to my real bank account this month. just used the destream card details to buy a new shure mic on amazon yesterday. went through instantly. saves so much time and annoying transfers. cool service.

Needs more design options
Honestly the donation page that my viewers see looks a bit boring. I wish there were more templates or ways to customize the background and colors to perfectly match my channel branding.
BUT, I have to admit the payment processing is rock solid. Never had a single failed payout in 2 months. If they update the design tools for the tip page, it's an easy 5/5. -
good site for pubg streams
good site for pubg streams. my alerts broke once but support fixed it fast. money is always there on the card so no complaints. works good.

Zero blocchi sui fondi. -
Finally something that works here.
Finally something that works here.
Tried a few other donation sites but getting the money to a local bank was a nightmare.
With destream I just use their virtual card.
Apple pay works perfectly for my viewers.
Highly recommend it. -

Quick setup for OBS
Quick setup and the OBS widget works without any lag. I skipped all the advanced settings and just use it for basic donations on my YouTube channel. No complaints here, the money hits the card right away.

Apple pay integration is perfect
Apple pay integration is perfect. I saw some people complaining about the initial setup taking too much time, but you literally only do it once. I stream from Dubai and getting funds from international viewers used to be a huge headache with local banks. The destream support helped me link everything in 10 mins. Now my viewers tip in one click and I spend it directly using my phone.

KYC took a bit longer than expected
KYC took a bit longer than expected. I had to wait around 24 hours to get my ID approved, which was slightly annoying because I wanted to set up my Twitch alerts right away. But honestly, once the verification was done, it’s been flawless. Getting my tips straight to the virtual card with zero holds is a lifesaver. Will keep using it.

Assistenza solo in inglese??

It's just another site honestly. My brother made me get it for our gaming channel. It works I guess but the UI is kinda mid. Whatever.

honestly best for me in egypt
honestly best for me in egypt. i stream pubg mobile every day and i needed a way to get tips from fans because bank here is very slow and usually a big headache. my friend told me about this site and i try it. the virtual card is on my phone now and i already used it to buy some in-game skins and even paid for my dinner yesterday. money comes very fast which is good. verification took one day but after that no problem. thank you so much for this service it helps me a lot.

Why is there still no dark mode for everything? It's 2026. I use the site but my eyes hurt at night. Please fix this, it’s annoying af.

Nearly had a heart attack when the first alert popped up, way too loud mate! Spent ages digging through menus just to turn the bloody volume down. Site's alright but some of these settings are buried too deep.

Totally frustrated
Tried to set it up for two hours and the overlays just won't look right on my screen. Waste of time today. I just closed the site. Maybe I will try again later if I feel like it. 4 stars only because my friend says it’s good.

Polecam
Wszystko w porządku. Działa bez żadnych problemów, konfiguracja zajęła dosłownie chwilę. Polecam innym streamerom, dobra alternatywa.

absolute life saver for my twitch…
absolute life saver for my twitch streams. hate waiting weeks for payouts and destream solved that. First meet guys at twitchcon, was nice, but totally forgot about them, now found them again. overlays for streams works, and very simple, not much to customize, but basic is there. Special thanks to instagram manager - to help me setup some basic alerts. cheers guys!

Best option for GCC streamers
Excellent for creators here in Bahrain. I was looking for a reliable way to manage my tips without going through local bank hassles for every small transaction. Finally I can get my tips on a virtual card and spend directly for my setup or new games. No issues with verification for me, it took maybe a couple of hours and I was ready to go. Highly recommend for those who stream on Kick or Twitch.

Finally ditched PayPal after they put another "security hold" on my donations for no clear reason. Been using Destream for a bit now and it’s been working pretty well so far. The money goes straight to the card they sent, which is honestly just more convenient – I can actually use it right away instead of waiting.
Still getting used to it, but compared to the usual PayPal delays, its been a much smoother experience for me. -

I’m based in Limassol so I knew about them for a while. Decided to try for my twitch channel. Registration was okay but they are very strict about kyc... had to send my proof of address twice because they didn't like the scan. But once verified the payouts are instant. 4 stars only because of the strict document check.

Good experience so far
Setup was easy. I use it for TikTok and the tip link works perfectly with local cards here. The speed of transfers is impressive, and I love using the destream creator card to spend my earnings right away. Payouts are consistent and available instantly.

Written coverage Steemit
The DeStream project is the first decentralized global financial ecosystem for streamers.
This describes the 2018 DeStream blockchain token sale, which is a different product from the payment platform reviewed on this page. It is included because it ranks for the brand name, not because it says anything about the service today.

Written coverage Medium
